Covidium

 Blooger blog.  Let them noodle nod.  It's all a back and forth from truth or sod.  We got letters from them....  After the apocalypse.   It's Thursday, two weeks after Bloomensdag 2022, the big One!  100 years since the first bloomsday?  But if on June 16 1904, doesn't that mean 118 years?  Right, it's the book.  We're celebrating the anniversary of the novel, published in February 1922.   Just watched (for maybe the sixth time) the movie "Midnight in Paris" . Some things i really enjoy about the film.  I tend to fast forward a little through the scenes set in 21st century.  My favourite character from the 1920's is Salvador Dali.  Love the way Adrien Brody plays him.  I laugh out loud every time.   The music and cinematography are certainly pleasing to look at.  It's all a bit of an idealisation, isn't it? one week til Bloomsday

 Today is June 9.  One week until Bloomsday.  That's a day like any other.  Or, like June 16, 1904.  A day in Dublin is like a day anywhere else.  Leopold Bloom is like any other man.  Is Molly Bloom like any other woman?  Time will tell.  But that "Penelope Episode" is timeless, isn't it?  Says so in the Gilbert Schema.  What so, m'lord?
